If you need a little something to help get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day – or simply to get you through it – master mixologist Oskar Kinberg has the perfect cocktail, the Tonka Bean Julep. Created with one of the unsung heroes of the aphrodisiac world, the tonka bean, it should stir things up nicely. Try it at Oskar’s Bar at the Michelin-starred Dabbous – or rustle one up at home. Just put 50ml of Bourbon, 12.5 ml tonka bean syrup, two dashes Angostura bitters and ten mint leaves in a julep cup. Fill with crushed ice and then churn with the bottom of a bar spoon.
