Brief

To launch a new Japanese Mexican restaurant in Notting Hill Gate.

Strategy

Throughout the pandemic, positioned owner Markus Thesleff as a talking head on all things crisis related in the F&B world. He was interviewed and quoted across the board, including the BBC, The Times, The Telegraph, Monocle, and Elite Traveller.

Once restrictions started to lift, coordinated deliveries showcasing Los Mochis’ innovative Japanese/Mexican offering to key media and influencers.

Hosted an opening event to tie in with the launch of London Cocktail Week. Attended by media, consumers, and hospitality figures including World’s 50 Best bartenders.

Post-launch, secured reviews and features ranging from a glowing review by Tom Parker Bowles in the Mail on Sunday’s YOU magazine to BBC Good Food, Wallpaper*, and Design My Night.

Developed media partner events with the likes of Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour and activations for events such as the Japan Week Festival.

Instrumental in launching and promoting customer initiatives such as mezcal masterclasses.

Results

Los Mochis is now one of Notting Hill’s most successful restaurants, with new additions to the collection in the pipeline for 2023.
