Hospitality Delivers
Created by Jori White PR
Brief
As the UK found itself in the grip of the coronavirus pandemic, to launch a non-profit website to celebrate all that is positive about the hospitality industry and to demonstrate solidarity in a time of need.
Strategy
It was decided that the website would comprise a roll-call of hotels, restaurants, bars, chefs and charities that are giving back to the NHS and the wider community, together with links to complimentary masterclasses and London’s most comprehensive list of restaurant pivots.
Also, key would be continued support for industry charity Hospitality Action. The launch of the website was supported by many of the nation’s leading food and travel writers, Tom Parker Bowles, Giles Coren, Peter Harden, Marina O’Loughlin and Jay Rayner among them.
Hospitality Delivers was first announced by the Evening Standard and has since been covered by everyone from The Observer to Condé Nast Traveller, as well as many of the UK’s top chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers and influencers.
The site has continued to be updated throughout the crisis.
Results
Hospitality Delivers has ensured public recognition for those restaurants, bars, hotels and individuals who have put aside their personal problems to ‘give back’ during the crisis. It has also given the public a means by which they can help the industry. As importantly, the website has assisted Hospitality Action in its ongoing quest to help those facing hardship.
